John Huss and Peter Waldo Panel #13622
This stained glass artwork gives a glimpse of two known religious figures – John Huss and Peter Waldo. Huss, who is regarded as the first Church reformer who gave way to Protestantism, is shown tied with a rope and being burned with fire at his feet. Waldo, the leader of the Waldensians Christian spiritual movement, is depicted holding a bible while preaching. Both figures are shown against a textured backdrop of cobalt blue hues and framed by Gothic styles and patterns. With an arched design, this stained glass piece is a great narrative piece and suncatcher for a Christian church or chapel.
