Vision of Our Lady of Guadalupe Panel #13754
Tradition says that in 1531 Mexican native Juan Diego had a vision of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who instructed him to build a shrine on a hill in her honour. Juan was later venerated a saint and the Blessed Mother has since been given the title"Our Lady of Guadalupe." This Marian apparition is depicted in splendid detail in this stained glass design. Beautiful modernist imagery in a wide spectrum of colors and a golden arched frame are also featured in this dramatic piece.
