Star of the Sea Panel #13773
The Carmelite religious order also calls the Blessed Mother the "Star of the Sea." Tradition says that when the Carmelites had to flee from Mount Carmel because of the Saracenes' invasion, Our Lady appeared before them and promised to rise like a star in the sea to provide them guidance and safety. The profound symbolism of the said title is depicted in this stained glass design.
A religious window like this would make a good addition to a house of worship or a hospital chapel.
