St. Therese of Lisieux was a Carmelite nun in France who became renowned for remaining steadfast through difficulties, without complaining. Her life displayed the sweet fragrance of Jesus as symbolized by the bunch of roses and the crucifix which she is holding. Saint Therese of Lisieux is also known as the Little Flower, or the Little Flower of Jesus. Her name is sometimes spelled Saint Teresa. Saint Teresa is one of the more modern saints, having been born in 1873 and died in 1897. She is one of the most popular of Catholic saints. This round window features a golden amber border. The central portion features Saint Therese of Lisieux, the Little Flower, holding roses and flowers.
